This is the first completed image from a set of illustrations that I've been steadily working on. This is a World War 1 German battle robot. Classic Sci-Fi is usually not taken very seriously; I, however, am attempting to do so. Modeling and rendering was done in Modo and the painting and filtering was done in Photoshop.
